چکیده

We describe a case of Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph-positive CML)expressing pl90BCTAfiL. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) analysis of bone marrow cells showed a 472-bp band using primers specific for the pl90*c* ABLbut not \)210PCRmABL transcript. Sequencing analysis revealed that the PCR product was derived from the fusion between BCR exon el and ABLexon a2 (ela2). CMLexpressing pl90*c*" ABLis relatively rare. In a review of the literature, it may be grouped into 2 categories; approximately half of the patients exhibited prominent monocytosis and intermediate hematological phenotype between CMLand chronic myelomonocytic leukemia, and the remaining patients showed no monocytosis. Isodicentric Philadelphia chromosome: an uncommon chromosomal abnormality in the chronic phase of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML)

An isodicentric Philadelphia chromosome is an uncommon finding previously described as a secondary chromosomal abnormality in accelerated- or blast-phase of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) with resistance to imatinib mesylate or dasatinib. Here, we present a case with idic(Ph) chromosome identified at initial diagnosis in a patient with chronic-phase CML.

Coexistence of BCR-ABL1 Translocation and JAK2 V617F Mutation in a Patient with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Under Long-term Treatment with Imatinib and Nilotinib: A Case Report

This report describes an 89-year-old woman diagnosed with Philadelphia positive Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in 2007 who was initially treated with 200 mg/day imatinib. The patient demonstrated complete molecular response (CMR) in two tests in 2015 and 2018. During treatment between 2007 and 2019, despite increased dosage of imatinib and switching her therapy to nilotinib, complete hematological r...

Near haploid cell line in lymphoid blast crisis of Ph1-positive chronic myeloid leukemia.

This report describes a case of lymphoid blast crisis of a chronic myelocytic leukemia with the occurrence of a double chromosomal population carrying a Philadelphia chromosome. Fifty-five % of the cells have 28 chromosomes, and 36% show the exact duplicate of the near haploid chromosome complement. The similarities between this near haploid cell line and those previously reported, as well as t...

A novel cytogenetic abnormality r(7)(::p11.2->q36.3::) in a Philadelphia-positive chronic myeloid leukemia case

The so-called Philadelphia (Ph) chromosome is present in more than 90% of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) cases. It results in juxtaposition of the 5' part of the BCR gene on chromosome 22 and the 3' part of the ABL1 gene on chromosome 9. An additional acquired monosomy 7 or deletion of 7q is associated with poor prognosis in a variety of myeloid disorders. Here we report a novel Ph chromosome p...
